What is AutoRF™?
AutoRF™ is an automatic function that controls the tissue condition in the monopolar and bipolar mode of the unit and adjusts the power output accordingly to the tissue structure and condition. The AutoRF™ function permanently measures the electric resistance relating to the tissue condition.
Bipolar coagulation mode
In bipolar coagulation the power output is reduced in relation to the degree of coagulation and the desiccation of the tissue to a minimum of 30 % of the initial setting.
Monopolar cut mode
During monopolar cutting the unit adjusts the output exactly as needed to the type of tissue within the setting chosen.
Thanks to AutoRF™, the BM-780 II is a most comfortable and safe radiofrequency unit. Cutting and coagulation results are reproducible, and the risk of choosing too high a power setting is reduced.
