This week, we had the pleasure of hosting “WRF meets…” at our headquarters in Emmendingen, Germany, in cooperation with the Economic Development Agency Region Freiburg (WRF). We welcomed more than 40 guests from business, politics, and institutions – with many more still on the waiting list.

Shaping the future together: Business, politics, and institutions came together at “WRF meets...” at Sutter headquarters
Following opening remarks by District Administrator Hanno Hurth, our CEO Bert Sutter introduced the company. Guests then joined an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of our production facilities, where they discovered how high-precision medical technology Made in Emmendingen is developed and manufactured.
Why medtech? Because this industry is at a crossroads: strict regulations, rising costs, and global trade uncertainties meet a growing demand for patient-centered care. For our visitors, it was a first-hand look at how an innovative SME like Sutter navigates these challenges while driving medical progress.
The evening concluded with lively networking – an opportunity to share ideas, gain new perspectives, and strengthen ties across the region.
