We were a gold sponsor at the 59th Youth Researches Competition in Southern Baden

Our commitment to young talent was particularly evident at the South Baden regional competition: as a gold sponsor, we had our own information stand at the event. There, our trainees and the training team provided numerous interested young people with information about the wide range of training opportunities at Sutter – in a practical, personal, and approachable manner.

Promoting young talent. Sparking curiosity. Shaping the future.

For over 50 years, the Jugend forscht e. V. foundation has been inspiring young talent in the fields of science, mathematics, and technology—with impressive results. The nationwide competition has not only sparked the interest of thousands of young people, but has also long been firmly established in politics and society.

The new competition round will start in February 2024 with the regional competitions. Here, young researchers will present their projects to a jury and audience. The best teams will qualify for the state competitions in March and April – with the big goal of reaching the 59th national final of Jugend forscht, which will take place in Heilbronn from May 30 to June 2, 2024. It is organized by the Science Center experimenta in cooperation with the Jugend forscht e. V. foundation.

Sutter Medizintechnik is also participating again – as a partner of the “Jugend forscht Südbaden” competition. “Our mission is to inspire young minds to take an interest in the fascinating world of medical technology,” explains Managing Director Bert Sutter. “We provide insights into innovative technologies, present our modern training programs, and above all want to encourage young women to develop their talents in STEM professions.”

Franziska Beck is a role model in this regard: Together with Thomas Rietsche, she is part of our dedicated team that trains the skilled workers of tomorrow – in a practical, motivating manner and with a great deal of passion for technology.
