A Versatile Solution. The CURIS® flow irrigation pump integrates seamlessly into surgical workflows. In combination with our impedance-controlled CURIS® 4 MHz radiofrequency generator, it can be used as a complete solution for electrosurgical procedures. Alternatively, it also functions as a stand-alone device. CURIS® flow is compatible with various irrigation tubing sets available on the market.
"The non-stick Calvian endo-pen® by Sutter is a game changer. It´s my go to bipolar for all endoscopic surgery."
Paul Gardner, MD (USA)
“The CURIS® 4 MHz radiofrequency generator provides unparalleled precision to the neuro-surgeon seeking optimal control in neurosurgical cases. I have used the device for surgery in the cavernous sinus, resection of cavernous malformation from the motor cortex, minimally invasive clipping of anterior communicating artery aneurysm, and resection of acoustic neuroma. I found the ability to perform pinpoint coagulation with minimal thermal and electrical spread increasing the safety and efficacy of my operations.”
Ali Zomorodi, MD, Durham, NC (USA)
“The curved endo-pen is innovatively designed for endonasal surgery of the anterior cranial base. Its design enables precise access to the ethmoid arteries, facilitating hemostasis while minimizing morbidity to the surrounding anatomy, including the orbit and skull base. It’s my instrument of choice in addressing bleeding during endoscopic craniofacial resections, reducing meningoencephaloceles from the anterior cranial fossa, and arterial control in cases of severe epistaxis — an indispensable instrument for any endoscopic cranial base surgeon.”
Kibwei A. McKinney, MD, SSM Health Medical Group (USA)
“Compared to laser procedure, microelectrodes used with radiofrequency enhance the surgical technique by giving tactile feedback and other advantages. No special safety precautions are necessary and scarring is similar in both procedures. Made of super-hard tungsten and especially designed to reach every part of the laryngeal anatomy, micro-tips in different angles allow good access to the surgical f ield. We have operated on 92 tumors, mainly T1 glottic tumors, using the ARROWtip™ monopolar microdissection electrodes.“
J. Basterra, MD, Valencia (Spain)
"The sharp tips allow a precision that surpasses all other bipolar forceps I have used throughout my career. The forceps are well-balanced and the tines are very slender, but strong. With the small upward angulation of the tips, the SuperGliss® non-stick zhora bipolar forceps are perfect for skull base tumors in deep and narrow fields, as well as for more superficial, minimally invasive procedures."
Torstein R. Meling, MD, Rigshospitalet Copenhagen (Denmark)
“Endoscopic endonasal sinus surgery demands subtle hemostasis and the precise cutting performance of the instruments employed. The disadvantages of “cold steel” can be levelled out favorably by the application of radiofrequency current through an angled probe.“
T. Kühnel, MD, Regensburg (Germany)
