Data Processing Principles of Sutter Medizintechnik GmbH

In order to meet our obligation to provide information pursuant to Art. 12 ff of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are pleased to provide you with the following data protection information:

What data about you are processed by us? And for what purposes?

If we have received data from you, these are generally processed only for the purposes that we have received or collected them for. If you have sent us an e-mail, we are processing the data it contains (name, e-mail address, content) for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.
We also consider this inquiry to constitute consent to such processing (point (a) of Article 6(1) GDPR).

In case of newsletter subscription we are processing your data (e-mail address, telephone number) on the basis of your consent (Article 6 (1) GDPR).

If you no longer wish to hear from us, you can withdraw this consent at any time. We shall no longer contact you in that case.
If you withdraw your consent, your data are erased unless we are obligated by law to continue storing them. You may inquire with us at any time regarding such obligations for your individual case.
Data processing for other purposes is only possible if the relevant legal requirements according to Article 6(4) GDPR are met. We will of course meet any obligations to provide information pursuant to Article 13(3) GDPR and Article 14(4) GDPR in that case.

To what recipients are the data transferred?

Your personal data are generally transferred to third parties only when this is required for the performance of the contract with you and/or the provision of other services (e.g. newsletter distribution) to you. This applies to companies that provide services for us, such as our tax consultant, lawyer, or our distribution partner in your country. These service providers shall use your data only on our behalf and never for their own purposes.

Where are the data processed?

Your personal data are processed by us exclusively in data centers in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Your rights as a data subject

You have the right to information about your personal data processed by us.
If your request for information is not submitted in writing, please understand that we may request proof from you that you are the person you claim to be.
You also have a right to correction, erasure, or restriction of processing to the extent stipulated by law.
Furthermore, you have a right to object to processing as defined by law, and a right to data portability.

In particular, you have a right to object to the processing of your data in the context of direct advertising pursuant to Article 21(1) and (2) GDPR based on a weighing of interests.
