Karin J. has been working in the Business Development & Product Management team at Sutter since 2017. In her interface function as Product Manager, she manages our products throughout the entire product life cycle.
Find out what innovation means to Karin and what makes working at Sutter special for her:
In collaboration with surgeons and during visits in the operating room, I receive direct customer input on what is needed in the market and how we can make our products even better. Our innovative CURIS 4 MHz radiofrequency technology is an example of how we create a market-driven, innovative solution that offers many advantages for ENT, microsurgery and neurosurgery. At Sutter, I am involved in the entire process, from development and production to marketing and sales. Working closely with customers and different teams at Sutter makes my job exciting and versatile.
Innovation is not only about our products. The term innovation can be rather seen as a process: Addressing challenges in an open and solution-oriented way allows us to optimize processes and to implement innovative products effectively. This is important so that an idea can actually become an innovation on the market.
"Working at Sutter combines professionalism with ease."
In my job, I appreciate the freedom to create and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the company. At Sutter, the opinion of each individual is highly valued, suggestions for improvement are always welcome and are included in decision-making processes. This has also an impact on the work atmosphere, which is characterized by both professionalism and ease: Everyone contributes professionally to bring forward great projects. At the same time, I enjoy the relaxed and positive atmosphere during lunch breaks or activities outside of work, for example our SutterActive events. This supports the great team spirit and leads to real friendships!
