In my job at Sutter ...
... I monitor surgical techniques, therapy methods as well as new technologies on the market, in order to align Sutter's product portfolio with the needs of the end users. This involves the extension of the existing product portfolio with new models as well as the development of new products and their placement on the market. The Swyng non-stick bipolar forceps, single-use, for example, offer a wide range of applications in the OR thanks to the proprietary non-stick technology in combination with innovative product design. It is exciting to contribute to product innovations for precision electrosurgery, that meet the requirements of surgeons in international markets and help setting the basis for a sucessful future of the company.

What makes my work special ...
... is the contact with people from different areas of the company, from business development and R & D to manufacturing, sales and marketing. I particularly appreciate the versatile tasks in an international environment, e.g. working with colleagues from Sutter USA. It feels great to finally launch a new product on the market after the effort from everyone involved in the project, and to receive positive feedback from users.
