Celebrating Girls' Day 2025 with us
On April 3, 2025, we welcomed Elena, Lia, Medina, and Mila from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, offering them a glimpse into the profession of industrial mechanics in medical technology. The event is designed to introduce girls to careers that differ from traditional roles, broadening their horizons with new opportunities.
During the event, participants gained hands-on experience by engaging in a dexterity game with our bipolar forceps to simulate surgical tasks. They also toured our showroom to explore how our precision instruments are used in surgeries and had the opportunity to craft their own metal workpieces under the guidance of our great trainees Elisaweta, Emilie, Henry, and Nikolai, exploring fundamental metalworking skills.
A casual pizza lunch with the Sutter training team Franziska Beck and Thomas Rietsche provided a relaxed atmosphere for exchange about the training program and opportunities at Sutter. The day ended with each participant receiving a bag of Sutter giveaways, a small token to remember their visit.
Thank you to Elena, Lia, Medina, and Mila for spending their day with us. We hope it was an insightful experience, and we look forward to possibly seeing you again as future apprentices.
